What is the Honor Guard

The mission of a Marine Corps League Honor Guard is to provide military
honors for funerals, memorial services, dedication ceremonies, and other civic occasions as may be requested.

The Honor Guard may present the Colors, but their main purpose is to present a contingent to bear honors at ceremonies or funerals. Military Honors rendered in conjunction with a funeral or celebration of life during which one or more of the following activities is rendered: a flag folding and presentation, firing party,
or taps is rendered. (Honor Guards only).
