MCRD San Diego - 100 year Celebration

MCRD San Diego celebrates the 100th anniversary of its commissioning by highlighting the Depot’s history and legacy with the assistance of the Marine Corps Battle Color Detachment at MCRD San Diego, Mar. 5th 2022. The Battle Color Detachment is composed of three ceremonial units from Marine Barracks Washington, D.C.; the U.S. Drum and Bugle Corps, the Silent Drill Platoon, and the Marine Corps Color Guard.

Unknown Scout Ceremony

This ceremony is in memory of those Scouts who died in service to our country during World War 2 and the Unknown Scout that helped bring Scouting to the USA! There will be a Boy Scout Bugling at the ceremony, very special. This was presented by Pack 373 Cub Scouts.
